Course Description
This course will develop your confidence in the realm of world building. You’ll examine world building elements, along with the ways they intersect to create a complex and rich backdrop to your story. This course is geared toward fantasy writers, but many of the exercise and concepts can be applied to contemporary or historical novels as well. Whether you’ve completed a draft and need to go back and revise your world building or you want to have a solid plan in place before you start drafting, this course is for you.

Meet Your Facilitator
Alexandra (she/her) is a YA and middle grade fantasy author. She grew up in London and now lives in Los Angeles. She loves writing in all formats, from novels to screenplays to graphic novels, always centering on fierce women and morally grey characters, often with a bit of magic and murder. In this course, you'll get an inside look at her tried and true method to creating a fantasy world that comes alive on the page.
